Synapses and Neurons

The Kitchen House was a great read! I was constantly reading whenever I had a chance! It’s about a girl who came from Ireland as an indentured servant who lives with the black slaves in the Kitchen House. She ends up getting in with the family in the “big house” and ends up getting a different perspective on the situation she was in. It’s a depressing but addictive book. I really enjoyed it!
